Living on Purpose

We took a very oversized ferry to the island of Mallorca! Getting cozy in our beds for the night and excited to have a warm night sleep FINALLY! On the way back it was during the day and so we played this card game called Canasta that Laura taught us and it seriously lasted like 8 hours and we were convinced Laura was making the rules up as she went! And then... everyone got sea sick... so great

Matt was soooo excited to make bacon! He was kind of adorable dancing around the hot oil burning him but not caring because he was so excited!

Mallorca!! Our hotels were amazing!! 21 Euros for 3 nights, we did very VERY well!! It was like a 5 star resort!

Look at the palm trees!! No wonder my neck looked like I had leprosy I was kind of a mess on this whole trip but still had an awesome time!

It was very stormy, though still beautiful! (those yellow buildings are where we were staying!)

The extent of our weekend.... haha! It was basically a hurricane outside! I literally didn't think I would make it across the street to the market without blowing away... but I finally chanced it for the sake of not dying of starvation! It was a well needed rest though!

We got professional at trail mix eating and mixing!

I was desperate for water!! And not chlorine water that came from the tap!

Family dinner! We made sandwiches together!!

Just a glimpse of our 7 Euro a night hotel!! It was A-mazing to say the least!

Absolutely wonderful! We laid out on these for like 30 minutes, freezing, covered in goose bumps, and determined to come back from spring break with tans!! We called it extreme tanning... and then discovered the indoor jacuzzi and switched our game plan... you can get color through windows right?

The beach! I'm just always gonna get excited when I get to go to the beach!

I wanted to make sand castles in the sun =(

But it was Fahreezing!!!!

I love bike rides so much!!

Matt getting picked up on at the airport while all 12 of us girls watched and laughed from afar! And then we went home =) it was a wunderbar spring break!

You know, I think I've been on a carousel in every country I've been in! I just can't resist!! Especially when they have tea cup type of things on them like they always do in Europe! So fun!!! And there's no resistance so you can spin crazy fast! You know you've got it going good when it starts to feel like the tea cup has tipped and is rolling on it's side instead... I think it took us quite a few minutes to walk straight again after this one!

We had to wait in a well worth the wait long line for La Fonda! Who would've thought a resturaunt called La Fonda would be amazingly delicious?!

I'm pretty sure I have on 5 layers!! Let's count...I have my jeans on over my pajama pants which are over my sofie shorts which are over a thermal, a t-shirt, a zip up sweater, AND, that sweatshirt, the only warm thing I packed!!

Here is a picture of all my clothes for the entire week strategically laid out on top of me which are over my legs that are wrapped in the bottomless pillowcases they gave us, I put my legs in it to keep them close together... and then... I got sick that night and had to redo that process about 4 times, miserable =(
