Cinque Terra Makes Me Miss Malibu and Friends

So right when we got of the train we got lunch with a sea side view!!

Then from the train station to the hike!

And we're off to hike the four cities!

We hiked from that city Monterossa! Sooo beautiful, but sooooooo glisteny! Pretty much the most incredibly gorgeous hike you'll ever go on!

And so we begin!

Amazing! Again, that's the city we were hiking from...

I think we rested just as long as we hiked! 

Carly and Shylah, it was a windy walk!

I thought we randomly ran into an aquarium but it was just a cool tunnel! 

See that little city... that's the same one from the very beginning! What can I say I was impressed with our hiking skills!

And THIS is the adorable town we hiked to!

This is the after shot! Soooo cute after hiking soooo long ;) haha! I don't even want to talk about what all our backs looked like... after taking the back packs off... you can only imagine...

We made it!!!!! 

This really happened! haha!

Eventually we had to put the packs back on and find a place to stay for the night... 

But not before we stopped for gelato!! 

So this is the view from our apartment we stayed in!! It was love at first sight! We were told that you don't book a hotel or go to a hostel when you visit Cinque Terra, half the fun is walking door to door and asking if there is somewhere open for the night to stay.... well... we walked to SOOOO many doors and it seemed like that was NOT the thing to do there until finally we went into a shop and asked if there was a hotel or something (we were getting very tired and freaked out we'd have no place to stay) and the person shopping explains to the old shop owner who doesn't speak english what we are looking for and she ends up having an extra place across the street that she lets us stay in for like 20 Euro!!! It was basically a flat, a family could live there! We were shocked amazed and felt so blessed!

I mean just look at it! it was furnished and everything! There were a bunch of rooms too! We even all got a bed for the night! AND a nice shower in one of those tubs that have a hose thing you hold up to rinse off! 

After we all smelled a little better we went out to eat at a cute little pizza place and I wore my sisterhood of the traveling dress! (and I don't know why Taylor is drinking a candle!) 

Took this just for Alex, Mel, and Layla! I love and miss you!! And then it got sent off to Mel! Who I think still has it haha! 

We woke up to a wonderfully relaxing day at the beach! Always a favorite!

Amanda and I had fun soaking up the rays!

The water was sooooo warm! It felt like a bath tub! It was amazing to swim in and so clear you could see all the way down to the bottom probably 25 feet deep! We had so much fun swimming to the bottom and picking things up! I could've swam all day in there! 

We choreographed a water ballet and performed for the boys and then they made one up too haha!

We're so buff!  Oh my gosh my shoes! I forgot about those shoes!! They were amazing and served me well! Velcro straps and all! 

I love her! She reminds me of sister so much!

I would live in this town if I could!

We went to another city for dinner that night, and of course more gelato! But not before catching an amazing sunset!

Never smiles in pictures! Oh my gosh funny story about why his hair is so short, he asked for a certain number like guys do but apparently the numbers aren't the same in Germany as they are in America haha! 

I wish the water bottle didn't ruin this picture!

Favorites!

We kept trying to walk through the alley's all at the same time not realizing how narrow they were haha!

Ate my first authentic Itallian pasta here! Apparently pesto originated in this city but I didn't like it and everyone was giving me a hard time about it, that you have to have pesto here cuz it's where it's made! 

And no meal is complete without topping it off with gelato! Mmmmmm

By the end of the night our legs were exhausted (still recuperating from yesterday I think!) so the bus driver took pity on us and picked us up when we were hitchhiking! 

Tried to take a cool moving train pic but I guess the shutter was just too fast!

We had to wait for the train forever so we did what we always do best and started a photo shoot to pass the time!

We were trying to do a vogue picture but I couldn't do it I kept laughing too hard every time! 

So then it turned into stalking me with the camera seeing how long it took before I could get serious!

Nailed it! Everyone was so sure I couldn't get it but I did, HA!

And then we found an awesome playground! Of course! 

We're the Brady Bunch!

We decided to sleep on the beach our last night there! Yeah, we're hardcore!

It was dark out there!

We sat around and played games initially

getting all cozy for a very, very long night!

Mama Carly kept us warm on the beach! It was actually quite freezing at night!!  like, totally and completely miserable freezing! No one could fall asleep we were all so cold!

And then... we moved ourselves to the train station... which was outside but praise the LORD for some reason the stair well was unlocked and we camped out the rest of the night there! 

Stair buddies, we made ourselves as comfortable as we could regarding the circumstances!
