Oh Mozart!

We're going to Vienna!!

Our first semesters educational field trip was to Vienna, Dr. Lerner's land! Our first night out to eat we got serenaded at the restaurant! It was amazing!

Sister Says: "Don't you love the colors and the buildings in all of Vienna? I could totally live there... too bad Carter wouldn't agree."
Me: "Yes I loved Vienna!! I still love Heidelberg more though! I wish you could've come to Heidelberg! I know, stupid Carter! I could've seen you ;)"

Ian had a little camera and actually caught some really good pictures! I thought it was a toy!

Do we dare enter the labyrinth?? I was so excited it was like Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!!

Lost in the labyrinth!! 

The maze was really easy so they blindfolded me and... emily I think? and we split up into two teams that guided us through the maze from a tower in the middle! Emily started at one end and I at the other and it was so hilarious!! We ran into each other at one point and I'm pretty sure I won! As per usual ;)

Yeah that's my back side but only half of it! I bet you didn't know that the other half is my reflection!!

There was a mirror maze too!! So much fun!

I almost cartwheeled across but chickened out!

Hudretwasser Haus! So this was pretty much the coolest house ever built! Weird tour guide though...

Took a picture of the museum so we wouldn't forget the name of it! I saw Picaso and Monet in there! I"m more a Monet girl!

Dr. Lerner hung is jacket up and looked at me and told me not to take his jacket, so of course I did!

He didn't even notice and then he turned and smiled and said, "you took my jacket didn't you shannon?! I thought you looked so cool!" haha love him!

Sigmund Freud's house! Dr. Lerner told me and I quote, "Oh my gosh Shannon, don't you realize, he's not practicing anymore!" Thanks Dr. Lerner haha! 

I don't even know what this building was but it was across the street from the art museum and it was really cool!

I'm such a nerd! I loved this!! Mozart concert and opera and dancing! *sigh* Also, I always love this song cuz it reminds me of Miss Congeniality, favorite! 

I was excited about how my hair looked after braids so one last picture before bedtime =) so vain I know! 

Throw up the W for wien!! haha! Poor Christina found out she had mono while we were in Vienna and spent the whole trip in her hotel room =( we went to visit her to make her feel better!

We met up with Taylor's friend from home Shylah and she showed us around the city cuz she was studying there! We LOVED her! She took us to the OCU house and it was kinda sad because sister almost studied abroad there this year and I would've got to see her!

We were soooo excited to use this toilet! It plays Mozart to you while you're... ahem... taking care of business! haha! 

We were beyond excited to try The Original Sachertorte" at the Hotel Sacher! Glad we tried it but we were all kind of really dissapointed... =( cake in Europe is not as fluffy as it is here, it was kind of dry... but it was invented for the prince of Vienna so we felt like royalty!

"Are we really sitting here right now???" We had to sit on the stairs on the bus ride home ! It was pretty much awesome!! I'm not even being sarcastic once we started going we realized how amazing it was to sit right up against the ginormous window!!! It was like a movie theater! on the hills up to Moore Haus we played the Aladdin magic carpet ride and it totally went along with the ride and felt like we were flying on one because of all the twists and turns making it look like we were flying over the edge of the hills!
